Description
The Download Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure via email template tokens in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.71. This is due to user-supplied values, such as a user's first name, being substituted into email templates before the template's dynamic tokens are resolved, with no restriction on which server, request, or user meta keys those tokens may read. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to set a profile field to a token such as {{SERVER_HTTP_COOKIE}} so that, when an administrator approves, declines or suspends their account, the notification email sent to the attacker contains the administrator's request data, including authentication cookies.
