Description

The Flexy Breadcrumb plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the user display name in version 1.3.0. On author archive pages the display name is HTML-entity-decoded and printed inside the breadcrumb's inline JSON-LD script block without escaping '<' or '/', so a display name containing an encoded '</script>' sequence closes the block. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the attacker's author archive page. Exploitation requires the breadcrumb to be displayed on author archive pages.
