Description
The Premium Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Video Box widget in all versions up to, and including, 4.11.109 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on video URLs. The widget used a stored embed URL setting as the video's iframe source and lightbox link without validating its scheme, accepted any characters in Dailymotion video IDs, and its prettyPhoto lightbox script (also used by the Media Wheel widget) inserted lightbox link URLs into iframe markup without escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page or opens the video lightbox. The earlier fix for CVE-2024-10266 in version 4.10.61 escaped only some of the lightbox's media types.
