Description
The Aurora Heatmap plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the recorded page URL in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.1. The cause is that the front-end tracking AJAX handler accepts any syntactically valid URL, including javascript: URLs, and the admin heatmap report list prints these URLs into link href attributes with only esc_attr(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when an administrator clicks the malicious link in the heatmap report.
