Description

The Spectra Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'htmlAttributes' block attribute in versions 1.0.0 up to, and including, 1.0.8 due to insufficient validation of attribute names and missing protocol filtering of URL-valued attributes before they are output on the block wrapper. Attribute names containing spaces could inject additional event-handler attributes, and attributes such as href or src accepted javascript: URIs. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
