Description
The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.10. This is due to the booking status update endpoint (/bookings/status/{id}) checking only the general amelia_write_appointments and amelia_write_events capabilities, without verifying that the booking belongs to an appointment or event assigned to the requesting employee. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with the Amelia Employee (provider) role to approve, reject, cancel or otherwise change the status of other employees' appointment and event bookings by enumerating booking IDs, which also sends the related customer notifications.
