Description

The Defender Security plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions 3.7.0 up to, and including, 6.2.4 due to missing nonce validation in the handler that processes the 'disable_2fa_methods' action on the Users screen. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to clear the two-factor authentication methods of any user, including administrators, via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires the Two-Factor Authentication feature to be enabled.
