Description
The BetterLinks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Open Redirect in versions 3.1.0 up to, and including, 3.1.3 via the MCP connector's OAuth authorization page (/betterlinks/authorize). OAuth client registration is unauthenticated, and when an authorization request failed validation (for example an unsupported response_type or missing PKCE parameters) the page redirected the visitor to the client's registered redirect_uri without requiring a logged-in administrator. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a client with an attacker-controlled redirect_uri and craft links on the site's own domain that send users to malicious sites, if they can trick a user into clicking such a link. The MCP connector must be enabled, which it is not by default.
