Description

The The Plus Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the script and style content options of the Hover Card widget in all versions up to, and including, 6.5.1. This is due to raw script and style content being output based only on the viewing user's manage_options capability rather than verifying that the post author is trusted with unfiltered_html. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of an administrator who views the injected page, which can lead to administrative actions such as creating new administrator accounts.
