Description
The Shortcodes Ultimate plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the su_tooltip shortcode in versions 5.10.0 up to, and including, 7.9.0. This is due to the tooltip template being filled with str_replace(), which substitutes placeholders one after another: the 'class' attribute is only passed through esc_attr() and is inserted into HTML attributes first, so a placeholder typed into it is later expanded with the tooltip title, text or enclosed content, whose quotes are not attribute-escaped. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
