Description
The Spectra Legacy – Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification and loss of data in versions 2.5.1 up to, and including, 2.20.3. This is due to a missing capability check on the FSE fonts compatibility routine in the UAGB_FSE_Fonts_Compatibility class, which runs on every request, front end included, that carries the page=spectra, path=settings and settings=fse-support query parameters. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete the Spectra font folder (assets/fonts/spectra) in the active theme and rewrite the theme's theme.json to remove the font families Spectra added, breaking the site's global typography until an administrator regenerates the fonts.
