Description

The Tutor LMS Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.1. This is due to missing nonce validation on the 'activate_tutor_free' and 'activate_elementor_free' admin actions, which activate a plugin on a plain GET request. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to activate the Tutor LMS or Elementor plugin, when it is installed but inactive, via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
