Description

The s2Member plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion via the 'template' attribute of the s2Member Pro shortcodes (Pro-Forms, s2Member-List and s2Member-List-Search-Box) in all versions up to, and including, 260913. The Pro Shortcode Templates Whitelist was not enforced: templates the administrator had not approved were only reported and were still used. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to have local files the administrator did not approve, such as other files inside the wp-content directory, loaded and processed as the shortcode's template, which can expose their contents or run PHP code they contain. Only sites with the s2Member Pro add-on installed are affected.
