Description
The Pagelayer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of site settings in versions 2.1.7 to 2.2.0. This is due to missing manage_options capability checks in the create_website, create_page, create_post and create_design_ui abilities, which only required the edit_posts capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, on sites where the WordPress Abilities API is available (WordPress 6.9 and later), to change the site title, the site-wide Pagelayer global colors, fonts and content width, and the show_on_front, page_on_front and page_for_posts options, replacing the site's homepage and posts page.
