Description
The Social Share Icons & Social Share Buttons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to DOM-based Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the WeChat share icon in versions 3.1.0 up to, and including, 3.7.4. On mobile devices, the WeChat share dialog placed the current page URL into a single-quoted HTML attribute without escaping. A single quote in the URL could therefore close the attribute and add new attributes. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts in a victim's browser if they can trick the victim into opening a crafted link and clicking the WeChat share icon. The WeChat icon must be enabled on the site. Version 3.7.5 fixes the issue.
