Description
The Redirection plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Open Redirect in all versions up to, and including, 5.10.0. When a regular expression redirect has a site-relative target such as '/$1', the captured value is substituted without checking for leading slashes, backslashes or control characters, so the target can become a protocol-relative URL such as '//evil.com'. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to craft links that send users to arbitrary external sites if they can get a user to click them. Exploitation requires a site administrator to have configured a regex redirect with a relative target built from a captured group.
