Description
The MultiVendorX – WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace AI Powered Solutions plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data in versions 5.0.0 through 5.0.18 due to the Stores REST controller's create_item and update_item handlers not restricting administrator-only fields and actions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to create stores outside the registration flow with arbitrary store meta such as store-level commission rates and owners, and for store owners to change their own store's status, commission, owners, approval and deactivation state, bypassing marketplace administrator decisions.
