Description
The LA-Studio Element Kit for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.2 due to a missing capability check on the screenshot_save, screenshot_delete and screenshot_failed Elementor AJAX actions. These actions only require Elementor's generic AJAX nonce, which is exposed to any logged-in user on wp-admin pages. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to create, replace or delete the screenshot attachments of arbitrary posts and templates, write attacker-supplied image data into the uploads directory, and mark screenshots as failed. The screenshots module is only loaded when Elementor Pro is not active.
