Description
The Sensei LMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to an Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.26.3. The legacy (non-block) quiz save handler, Sensei_Lesson::quiz_update(), runs when a lesson is saved. It took the target quiz ID from the user-supplied 'quiz_id' parameter and passed it to wp_update_post() without checking the ID's post type or ownership. The update sets post_type to 'quiz', blanks the content, and copies the lesson's title and status. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with teacher-level access and above to overwrite any post or page on the site, including other users' content, when the legacy quiz editor path runs.
